Suc de Lluna S.L. (Moon's Juice) born in 2003 from the struggle and passion of a group of enterprising / hard working young people, who, without more aid than a micro credit of 25,000 Euros, launch in Valencia their first stand of artisan orgeat "Món Orxata" (Orgeat World).

The original aim of this idea was to recover a dignifying and lost tradition due to the pressure of a continually accelerating world and return the orgeat the respect and position that it deserves.

As with commercialised wines, the industrialization of the orgeat, its sterilization and the preserving chemicals added, make for a lose body and soul, besides texture and flavour the nutritional benefits disappear significantly, so much so that it is hard to understand how the resultant product can be called orgeat.

Nowadays it is practically impossible to find an authentic orgeat outside of the mythical and intimate traditional "horchaterías", who are reducing in number annually as the secrets are not handed down through the generations.

Despite all these trends, Món Orxata, which in only 4 years old, has turned into the leading worldwide brand in the sector of original artisan orgeat and its supply to the consumer. We will continue the traditional ecological craftsmanship of extracting from the Tiger nut all its fresh flavour and quality. That which gives us those little daily pleasures.

Món Orxata - Probably the only company in Valencia that sows and harvests its own ecological tiger nut in the orchards of this fertile area, and that elaborates orgeat and other derivatives of the tiger nut in the traditional way for its supply to the consumer market.

Our best assets are our "horchateras", a team of more than 60 women who are the heart and the face of "Món Orxata" working our stands. Women, who, with tenacity, good humour and hard work are recovering the humane warm spirit of this traditional market.
